It is with sad news, but DVS Records will be closed down for business on 31 December 2008! There are several reasons for our decission, the most important is that we would like to spend more time with our family. The second main reason is that CD sales has decreased over the last couple of years, so financially it has costed a lot of money to keep the label alive. For us there are more important things in our life now like a fulltime job and our family, which made us decide to stop with the label at the end of the year.
Allthough we are not fully satisfied with the results, we are proud in what we have done since we started the label. We tried to help young talented bands to give them the first steps in the music business, we think we succeeded in this. We really wanted to continue with the label, but it is abolutely impossible to do, so we do not have any other chance than stop the business.
In a few weeks we will do a little update of the site and sell some of the remianing albums for a cheap price. So keep an eye on the website.
